recommended that you take out Contents Insurance to protect your belongings.
Life insurance
Life insurance is not a compulsory purchase but you may wish to take out a policy to protect yourself or your family in the event of death or diagnosis of a specified critical illness. Your advisor will provide a no obligation quote and there is no charge for advice or arrangement.
Level term life insurance
Provides a fixed lump sum payment should you die within a specified period.
Level term life insurance (with critical illness cover)
Provides a specified lump sum payment should you die or suffer a critical illness within a specified period.
Mortgage protection cover
Providing a decreasing lump sum payment to cover your outstanding mortgage, should you die within the specified period.
Mortgage protection cover with critical illness
Providing a decreasing lump sum payment to cover your outstanding mortgage, should you die or suffer a critical illness within the specified period.
Income protection (ASU)
A short term policy to protect your income if you are unable to work due to accident sickness or unemployment. The benefit is usually for a maximum of £2000 per month and would last up to 2 years. No medical underwriting is necessary
Permenant Health insurance
Unlike ASU, this type of policy would potentially pay out until your normal retirement age. It covers you in the event of long-term ill health forcing you to stop work. The maximum benefit is based on your income and the premiums would be based on your age + circumstances.
